The full tuition of $395 works out to about $16/hour for state of the art individualized instruction in self-defense and personal safety. We at WAMM believe this is a great deal, and compares favorably with what you might pay for an hour at the movies, or an hour of a hairdresser’s or babysitter’s or plumber’s time.

WAMM is committed to paying its instructors and covering our programming fees which include rent, insurance, travel for male instructors, supplies, and program administration. We are a 501(C)3 non-profit organization, and believe that all people regardless of income deserve access to effective and realistic self-defense.

In order to cover the costs of self-defense training for low-income and no-income women, WAMM writes grants and is developing a scholarship fund.
